Excursions and activities in Heidelberg and the surrounding area mainly feature on the programme during these holidays. We therefore particularly value attractive destinations that are worth discovering. Children can enjoy exciting days creating lots of new memories. We use the time to immerse ourselves in nature or discover art, culture and science. We have prepared alternative activities in case the weather hinders our plans.
For the 2021/22 school year, we are offering excursions on the following four days

A fun boat trip - we’ll discover the 4 castles of Neckarsteinach
Please note: last-minute changes may be necessary in the event of bad weather!
The day trips take place from 8 am to 5 pm. The meeting point is at 8 am precisely at the centrally located päd-aktiv e.V. office at Kurfürsten-Anlage 17/1, 69115 Heidelberg.
We’ll start our day trips from here and return at around 5 pm. Earlier pickups are unfortunately not permitted for organisational reasons.
The excursion programme is run by two specialist teaching staff and is available for 22 children.
The cost for a day trip is €49.00. This includes all entry tickets and travel costs. An additional €4 is required for meals, which consists of lunch, a snack between meals and fruit.
Enrolment, deadlines and cancellation

Enrolment deadline: four weeks before the requested holiday.

Places are allocated following receipt of enrolment.

You will receive either confirmation or placement on the waiting list two weeks after receipt of your enrolment.

Cancellation is only possible if the place can be taken by someone else and must be submitted in writing to päd-aktiv 2 weeks prior to the excursion.

In the event of low demand (at least 18 participants), we reserve the right to cancel the excursion up to three weeks before it is due to start.

Due to rising coronavirus infections and the associated rules and regulations, last-minute changes or cancellations to the programme may be necessary.
